Bali is one of the most popular surfing hotspots in the world. The reasons are great water temperature and good waves every day. The Double Six Beach is extremely well-suited for beginners. Maybe there are some talented guys among you who will be able to surf in Keramas, Bingin or Uluwatu at the end of your semester. We can recommend Bali Green Surf school not only because these guys are super friendly and absolutely great surfers but also because they donate part of their profits to orphanage houses and charities in Bali. So you are indirectly supporting social projects.
About Bali Green Surf
Bali Green SurfWe are ‘Bali Green Surf’. Ketut, Komang, Oka & Sonny, 4 passionate Balinese locals and surf guides with three big aims: to arouse your passion for surfing; to help those who need help the most: orphan kids in Bali; and last but not least to keep Bali green and natural.
Our surf school “Bali Green Surf” is located in Seminyak, just a short walk from the famous 66-beach. We offer beginner, intermediate, advanced and kids surf guiding and also surf trips. According to your surf level we will take you to different spots and make sure you’ll have the best guiding in Bali.
On weekends, or days when the swell isn’t so good you can also book a day trip with us. We will take you to places away from the crowds and touristic areas to show you the real and traditional side of Bali.
Besides surfing, we’re trying to provide a better life and job opportunities for orphaned and disabled kids. We donate half of the whole income in food, clothes, toys and school equipment to orphanages and schools in Bali. Bali Green Surf also organises several events like Black Markets or Surf contests for the kids to create awareness and also to collect donations. Every minute off we spend time with the kids surfing, teaching them English, playing with them but also educating them to keep Bali clean and green.

The name Bali Green Surf is based on our third aim of keeping Bali green. We try to live our passion without destroying our nature. No nature…no surf!
