Lovina (also known as Lovina Beach or in Indonesian Pantai Lovina) is a bathing resort in Indonesia. It’s located in the north of the Island in the region Buleleng, around 8km in the west from the kreish capital Singaraja. The Indonesian word “Pantai” means “Beach” and Lovina is the houses name of the ruler Pandji Tisna.
Lovina consists of some separate, former fishing villages that grew together. The authorities drew a line on the sidewalks on both sides of the street to mark where Lovina starts and ends. The center is located in village Kalibukbuk, where a beach boulevard as well.
If you are in Lovina you should wake up early and walk to the beach. There you can charter a small boat to drive in the sunrise and watch dolphins in the most natural way.
